We begin each Matted Hair/Detangle Add-On with a quick professional assessment to place the hair into one of three timing tiers: light detangling (10 MINUTES), medium detangling (20 min.), or heavy matting that exceeds 20 minutes. Pricing follows those tiers: Starting at $20 for light, $30 for medium, and $50 when work runs past 20 minutes.
During the appointment the stylist will work patiently and communicate progress. The focus is on separating tangles while conserving hair integrity; if mats are deeper than expected, you’ll be informed before additional time is used or the $50 heavy-rate applies so you can decide how to proceed.
