Methods: tweezing, waxing and threading
We use three primary removal methods: tweezing, waxing and threading. Each removes hair differently — tweezing plucks individual hairs for precision, waxing removes groups of hairs quickly, and threading uses a twisted cotton strand to lift rows of hair. Choice of method depends on hair pattern, desired edge and comfort with each technique.
For issues like a unibrow, extra unwanted brow hair or generally bushy brows, stylists evaluate hair direction and thickness to pick the best method. Some clients prefer the sharp control of tweezing around a defined arch, while others choose threading or waxing for faster area cleanup that still respects the natural brow line.
What to expect during service
The service begins with a brief consultation to agree on the shape that enhances your face without over-sculpting. We map the brow, remove only the hairs outside the agreed lines, and check symmetry as we go. The service is performed with attention to natural proportions and lasts about 20 MINUTES.
During the 20 MINUTES appointment you can expect focused work on removing extra hairs and refining the arch. Some clients experience brief redness where hair is removed; this is a normal, short-lived response. The stylist will pause to verify the shape so the final result looks intentional and cleaner rather than overly made-up.
Aftercare and keeping shape longer
Aftercare is simple: keep the area clean and avoid heavy products immediately after service. If you have sensitive skin, let your stylist know so they can minimize irritation and suggest gentle post-care. Avoid harsh exfoliation on the brow area for a day or two to let the skin calm.
Maintenance decisions depend on how quickly your hair grows and the look you want to keep. Because our salon is in West Marietta near the Whitlock Avenue and Church Street corridors, many busy professionals and commuters find a short $25, 20 MINUTES appointment easy to fit into evening or weekend schedules for touch-ups.
