What the trial covers
A Trial Makeup appointment is a hands-on consultation and practice run held before your main event. During the session we explore whether you prefer soft natural, bold, smoky eye, or a customized approach for birthdays, weddings and events. We will apply the chosen look, take reference photos, and share them so you can see how the makeup reads in images before the event.
The Trial Makeup service is scheduled for 60 MINUTES and is offered at the listed price of $66. A $50 booking fee is required to secure your time slot on the event day for makeup; that fee ensures we reserve the artist and schedule. Trials happen at our West Marietta / Terrell Mill location in Marietta, convenient for commuters using I-75.
How we choose your look
The decision about a final makeup direction comes from a short conversation about your preferences and the event's tone. We compare soft, bold, smoky, or tailored options against your clothing, hairstyle plans and any photos you bring. This conversation helps set the intensity, color choices, and the practical need for touch-ups, particularly for outdoor or long-day events in the Marietta area.
During the trial we photograph the completed look and keep that photo as the reference for your event day. Seeing the makeup in images clarifies how shadow placement, eyeliner thickness and lip color translate on camera and in person. We discuss whether the look needs adjusting for humidity, bright outdoor light near Kennesaw Mountain or venues around Historic Marietta Square.
Preparing for your event day
The trial locks in the visual plan so your event-day application follows a clear guide. Bring any accessories you will wear—jewelry, veil, headpiece—or the exact outfit so we can coordinate tones and placement. If you commute from Smyrna, Kennesaw or Vinings, scheduling near rush hours may be discussed; our West Marietta location has easy access from I-75 for evening or weekend appointments.
On event day we reproduce the agreed look, using the trial photos as a blueprint and adjusting for lighting and timing at the venue. We also review the plan for touch-ups during the event so you know what to expect.
